Chuks Collins was born in the United Kingdom and grew up in Nigeria. His interest in fashion stemmed from his early years with his grandmother who was a seamstress. In his mind, more than anything the young Chuks just wanted to dress people; he was captivated by the notion that clothes and a person’s sense of style told a whole lot about the individual. In 2010 Chuks Collins began the adventure to give every stylish person a voice when he began his lifelong dream of launching a clothing line. The self-named brand CHUKS COLLINS is still on a mission to empower people with its designs and more so truly showcase his unique voice through the collection.
Following a major health scare in 2012, a bad accident and a terrifying kidney issue that necessitated a kidney transplant, Chuks Collins found a new lease of life as he battled through a year of recovery and therapy. On his return, the new Chuks got back to work with hope and renewed vigor, aptly naming his debut collection ‘Survival’ Since fashion to him always had more meaning and depth he named his second and third collection, ‘The Journey’ and ‘The Dream’ respectively; a tribute the path his life had taken and where he was at the moment.
The immensely gifted Chuks Collins has been a celebrated participant in fashion weeks in New York, Philadelphia and New Jersey. He has also shown in Canada and Belarus. Chuks has had the pleasure of showcasing his exceptional style and vision as stylist for Ralph Lauren and has worked with few other Design houses in New York.
Apart from the international fashion brand, Chuks Collins is deeply passionate about his non-profit, Fashion Vie. FASHION VIE is a nonprofit organization that utilizes the creative industry to support social justice issues, access to healthcare, and worldwide human justice issues. The shows and events produced by Fashion Vie help raise money for organizations that promote social justice and help for the less privileged and disenfranchised. Social responsibility is a core value of the CHUKS COLLINS brand.
Profits from Chuks Collins’ September 2017 Spring Summer Show with Fashion Vie went directly to Oando Foundation in Nigeria to help girls Education. Previous shows have also benefited Housing works NYC and Turning Point Brooklyn.
Aside from his label and Fashion Vie, Chuks Collins has worked in a variety of capacities in both the fashion and marketing industry. Following school, Chuks Collins began his professional career in Nigeria at Lexford Nigerian Limited as a Marketing Executive. For over a year, Chuks managed a 7 person team, marketing insurance products to companies and individuals. In January of 2008, Collins found himself accepting a new position at Globacom Group of Companies. For the net 3 years, Collins worked as a Call Center Executive where he was focused on customer service and marketing before ultimately leaving Nigeria for the States.
Upon arrival, Chuks accepted a position at VICE Media as a Marketing Consultant. During this time, Chuks worked on branding and concept development for the marketing of a new Guinness product to the African market. At the same time, Chuks worked as an Administrative Assistant for Housing Works from 2014-2015. In March of 2016, Collins accepted a position with Ralph Lauren as a stylist, where he continued to work for the next year. Throughout this entire time, Chuks Collins’ worked on building both his personal brand and non profit organization.
Chuks Collins is more than just a label. He is a creative architect, creative stylist, insightful image consultant, style influencer, entrepreneur, an artist.

Chuks Collins is an international brand that exhibits exceptional quality and modern styling through personalized service. Collections have appeared in print, television, and a soon-to-be-released Hollywood film, as well as on Fashion Week runways in New York, New Jersey, Philadelphia, Western Canada, Belarus, and Nigeria. Chuks Collins produced a 70-piece collection of dresses featured in the Miss Intercontinental Pageant in Germany. Designs are commissioned by private clients, have been sold in stores, and have graced red carpets across the United States, London, and Milan.
