Chuks Collins

Creative Architect & Entrepreneur

Chuks Collins, a person who isn’t afraid to break barriers.

Chuks Collins was born in the UK and grew up in Nigeria. Growing up with his grandmother, who was a seamstress, Chuks found himself interested in fashion at an early age. From that experience, Chuks always felt the need and desire to “dress people in his mind”. He believed that clothing told story about a person and reflected who they were by their choice of style.

In 2010 Chuks Collins pursued a long time dream of his and launched a clothing line. Ultimately, Chuks Collins was on a mission to empower people with his designs and truly showcase his voice through the collection. Following a minor set back in 2012, due to a bad accident and a kidney transplant, Chuks persevered and bounced back after a year of therapy. After overcoming such a difficult time, Collins proudly named his first collection Survivor. Chuks later went on to name his second and third collection, The Journey and The Dream, as a tribute to his path of life over the years.

Throughout the course of his career, Chuks Collins has participated in fashion weeks in NY, Philly, Canada, Belaruz, and NJ and has worked as a stylist previously for Ralph Lauren and drew for Zac Posen.

Apart from his self tilted clothing line, Chuks Collins is deeply passionate about his non-profit, Fashion Vie. Fashion Vie is a nonprofit organization that utilizes the creative industry to support social justice issues, access to healthcare, and world-wide human justice issues. Shows and events produced by Fashion Vie help raise money for organizations that promote social justice. Social responsibility is a core value of the Chuks Collins’ brand, thus supporting such initiatives is of utmost importance. Profits from Chuks Collins’ most recent show with Fashion Vie went directly to Nigeria.

Today, Chuks Collins to continues to grow his international brand. His high quality and modern collections have appeared in print, television, red carpets, and a soon-to-be-released Hollywood film.
